Group Effort....

So, the big day is nearing. You know the big day 1/2 way through the pregnancy where we get to find out what sex the baby is......the BIG Ultrasound. If this baby is cooperating, spread eagle we will know on the 25th if we will be adding another girl to the family or if we will round it off with a little boy.
This whole thing is really exciting for Emi. She is convinced that we will walk in there and the doc will say, "Emi congratulations, you are having a sister". We've really had to talk to her about the "brother" thing......and I honestly believe that she will ultimately be excited regardless. She is really ready to take on the "big sister" role.
But, at dinner the other night this was the conversation: "But, Emi you'll be excited if it's a boy right? It will be okay to have a little brother". She said, "Yeah, that's okay, we'll just try again for a sister, right daddy?".....as though it's this big Group Effort.
I will of course post the results and her reaction on the 25th...........
