Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Here is our Dorothy. This is what Emi wanted to be for Halloween. Basically since June. Her favorite movie of all time is Wizard of Oz. She loves every aspect of the movie, all the way down to the witch and the flying monkey's. Grandma H. has a Wizard of Oz trivia game and the girl kicks butt. So, it was not a surprise when Emi announced she would be Dorothy for Halloween. Believe it or not there are 100 different styles of Dorothy dresses to choose from on the internet and the shoes were not hard to come by (Target, $8.99 in the shoe dept., glitter and all)...Toto w/basket was also purchased online. So, we were set. Halloween was a blast, we attended 3 different parties and did the trick-or-treating thing. I can say that we def. got our $$'s worth out of this costume. Stay tuned for next year, she already is planning that one. Cinderella? A Flying Monkey?
