Happy 2006!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR from our family to yours!

We spent our New Years at the beach with Mom and Dad Hammond. Eric and my dad were going to try and catch themselves some crab. But, the weather was not all that cooperative. Stormy, stormy! The Oregon coast is at it's finest when the storms blow in and the best way to enjoy it is to stay warm in your room with the fire burning. We ate a lot, shopped some and just relaxed. It was nice. Emi discovered she loves the taste of clams. We also visited my Grandpa and Grandma Hammond on the way over. Emi really enjoys seeing her Great Grandpa and Grandma, so that was nice for her.

When we look forward we realize 2006 is going to be an incredible year. With a new baby on the way it will be full of joy. As well, I am guessing we will be crazy busy! But, I like busy, so bring it on. I don't believe in Resolutions, so I don't make them. But, there are some things I would like to happen in 2006. 1) A new house. Preferably, we buy, but I'll rent as well. 2) All debt gone, unless of course it's debt in the form of a mortgage. 3) Cut back on work. I do not want to be working full time after the baby arrives. 4) Make more of an effort to stay in touch with friends and family. (This is of course a great way to start) And of course the most important 5) A healthy, happy baby.
