What goes up, MUST come down......

Yes folks, it's true. What goes up, must come down. Especially in the case of one over stimulated 3 year old, in which I am especially fond of. Christmas was a blast. Of course it started with singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus at 8:00am (yes, she actually slept until 8am, hallelujah!) From there it was opening presents from Santa, exchanging gifts between our little family and then off to Grandma and Grandpa's. She made it all day, until well after 9pm with NO NAP!! She did great. No melt downs, no tantrums, just good old Christmas fun! Then the 26th came. She only had a few minor melt downs that didn't last long. What she really did was lay on the couch in her NEW bathrobe and just read books and watched movies. Barely said a word all day. It was a fabulous day for all of us. A great, relaxing way to end the Christmas season. We lounged, we watched, we read, we relaxed, we ate and that was IT!! FABULOUS!!

But, today is the 27th. And we are still feeling the effects of Christmas. Today, we played, today we cried, today we had a few melt downs........BUT, today is almost over. It's a bed time and we'll see how tomorrow goes.
