NYC....here I come!

So, today I turn 31. Yikes! 31? I can still remember when 31 seemed so old! E1 is really into reminding Eric and I how old we are. She asked Eric if everything was in Black and White when he was in school. And, then yesterday we were telling her how different things were when we were in Kindergarten compared to how they are now and she said, "Yeah, but you lived in the olden days". THE OLDEN DAYS? What the heck? I didn't live in the olden days....my grandparents lived in the olden days...maybe even my parents lived in the olden days, but I certainly did not live in the olden days. Geesh!
Anyway, for my birthday, my parents, sister and brothers all went in on a plane ticket to NYC for me. Can you believe it? I am going to New York City. Sister Keli is going with me and we are staying with Brother Tim and Nathan. I am super excited and yet, a little nervous. Partly because I'll be gone for 4 nights, away from my children and that's always a little nerve racking. But, also because NYC is a totally different world, definately out of my comfort zone. But, I think it'll be a fabulous experience and I'm really looking forward to it! I am compiling a list of things I must see in those 4 days, and it's going to be a busy trip. If anyone has any ideas let me know. We are on a little bit of a tight budget, but I'd like to get in as much as possible.
