Tonsillectomy's & Adenoidectomy's & other stuff!!

Finally took Emi to the ENT specialist yesterday because of her constant exhaustion, sore throats & stuffy nose. Her snoring has become unbearable and it was defiantely time. Her tonsils have been really swollen to the point of touching for some time now. Her pediatrician wanted to wait and see if they'd go down before seeing an ENT and of course they haven't. So, later this month Emi will go in for surgery. They are going to remove her Adenoids at the same time. They tell me to plan on 7-10 days for recovery, but I know of some kids who have recovered a whole lot quicker.

Finally took the girls in for their Birthday pictures. Aren't they cute? Don't they both look so grown up? Elise isn't a baby anymore, she's a toddler. Walking around everywhere and getting in to everything. Emi is just growing up. Curious about everything. It's amazing to me that she will be in Kindergarten next year.

Everything is good. We are just enjoying the nice weather, swimming a lot and getting ready for all our company this summer!! Looks like I might be getting another baby as well. So, we'll be crazy busy!!
