Great times!

Mommy and Me weekend was a blast. Even with Emi being too little for a few of the things in Seaside...too short for paddle boats, too young for mini-golf......we still had a really good time. We walked & played on the beach, we ran from waves, we visited the aquarium and got soaked from the sealions, we shopped (a lot), we ate good food, we rode bumper cars, we just enjoyed each other's company. She was in good spirits, having mommy to herself all weekend. I'm really glad we did it. Her favorite part was the Old Fashioned photo shop. We got all dressed up in old Victorian style dresses and posed in front of a piano. It would have been a total waste of money had she not enjoyed it so much. On the way home we stopped at all the "tourist" sites off the side of the road until she was just so exhausted that she fell asleep. It was beautiful weather the whole time....blue skies and lots of sunshine! All in all, the weekend was perfect, just like I had hoped for. She can't wait for next year and she is already trying to figure out where we should go. She thinks we should go camping together.......just her and I. Hmmmm???? We'll have to see about that one. I'd have to tune up my fire starting skills. The rest of it, I could handle.
