Two down.....One to go.....

As I enter the last week of the 2nd Trimester I am so excited that the end is almost here. We are so excited to welcome our new daughter into the world and Emi cannot wait to meet her sister. As much as I don't particularly enjoy being pregnant, this pregnancy has been pretty fun. With Emi being so involved in the planning and doctor's appointments, it has added a new level of excitement that I didn't have with the first pregnancy. There are also some differences. Emi was so calm, she would move every once in a while, but she wasn't about making her existence too known. This little one on the other hand is so hyper that the excessive amount of moving, kicking and re-adjusting positions often leaves me feeling nauseated. Plus, she is powerful. The force of each kick/punch leads me to believe that I must have some major internal bruising. I figure I can only handle so much. Her foot, hand, head and butt often disfigure my stomach and just makes us laugh. Emi has felt the kicks, and the little one responds well to Emi's voice by kicking, moving or pushing a hand or foot out to say Hi! She is still called "Little One" or "Sister" because we have yet to pick a name. Maybe we'll wait to meet her before we decide for sure.
