Getting busy again.....

So, we had a few weeks off with lots of relaxing and not much going on. Now, we're about ready to hit the road running again! Emi's got lots of stuff coming up and Spring Break is a week away, Eric's birthday and then the dreaded month of May. May brings so many birthday's and parties it seems as though we hardly get time to breathe.
Emi has signed up for Cheerleading. Yes, my child is going to be a Sally Rally. She'll cheer every Sunday for a flag football team. Yikes! How a mom and daughter could be so completely opposite is beyond me. But, I'll admit, I enjoy watching her do all this crazy stuff and she really enjoys it all. She has joined Girl Scouts, she's gonna be a Brownie!! Cute, cute! She's just been moved into private dance class, she's thriving so much that the instructor felt she'd do better without all the "newbies" that come in and out. She's hoping to be able to audition for a local theater group, the one that her uncles were involved in for many years. Plus, swimming lessons start up again soon. More then anything she needs those. She'll be six in May and still won't put her head under the water. You'd think after 3 years of lessons, she'd get there.......nope. I may have to switch pools, or get her private lessons.....or maybe I'll just take her to the pool and throw her in. HA! I wouldn't do that, she'd probably be traumatized!!
Elise is going through some crazy stages, but she's getting more and more vocal every day and seems to be thriving! I'm trying to move her to one nap a day and I'm not succeeding! The girl just needs way to much sleep for that. But, I'm hoping to get her adjusted soon! I'll tell you though, the word "MINE!" is driving me nuts and the temper tantrums are getting a little too frequent. They aren't lasting as long since I ignore them completely, so when she looks out of the corner of her eye and sees I'm not paying attention and then just moves on to something else, I almost have to laugh. "NICE TRY" I think......
We've had some GREAT weather lately. In the 60's and sunny. Gotta love it!! It makes me even more excited for Spring/Summer and I find myself hating the rain more and more!! Today it's gross out there and I'm feeling a little blue! But, hopefully the sun will return soon!! I'll post more soon, I need to get some more pictures up, but time has gotten away from me. I promise to do that soon!!
