A little taste of Spring.....
The weekend was gorgeous!! Sunny, Blue Skies and in the low 60's. Of course, it's gone now. We're back to foggy & cloudy, rain in the forecast and I am finding myself a little depressed. I am so looking forward to Spring and Summer! I need sun!
Yesterday was Presidents Day, Emi was off from school, so I took the day off. Elise, Emi and I went to breakfast with my nephews and sister-in-law, then we went to the mall to look for Easter dresses and then went to the Rhodadendarin Gardens. (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). We walked the paths, fed the ducks & geese and had a lot of fun! It was nice to spend the day with just the girls.
Eric took advantage of the nice weather this weekend and bought all new siding for our house. He worked on that most of the weekend and it's starting to look really nice. We are trying to get this place ready to sell. We need to move before Summer, so I'm hoping we can get everything done that needs to be done!
Pageants are over, and we don't have a whole lot going on these days. Time to relax a little before we start going 100mph again.
Oh hey, guess what? It pays off to be an early riser. You know that unidentified "fireball" that flew through the sky this morning and then exploded somewhere in Pendleton? I saw it! It was so cool! At first I thought, "Holy SH*T! What was that?", then I decided whatever it was, not many people get to witness stuff like that. So, because I get up so early, I got to see it. It looked like a gigantic fireball with a really long tail. It just flew through the sky, exploded and the whole sky lit up! Pretty neat!!
Here is a picture I promised from the pageant. I posted more on the Flickr account, you can see them there. Start praying for more sun, will ya?

That's the make-up job that was touched up, eh? Looks a little heavy to me, too! I think I'm a little bit of an old lady, though.
