Elise......update!

Elise's true obsession right now is Elmo. She got a TMX tickle me Elmo for Christmas and it's been all about Elmo ever since. She loves that little monster, insisting on kissing him goodnight every night. She watches his videos and only wants to eat with her Elmo fork, spoon, bowl and plate. She asks for Elmo in the car, in the store......I need to find her a little stuffed Elmo she can take along with her. Tickle Me Elmo isn't exactly the easiest thing to cart around.

Elise is also really into brushing everyone's hair right now. She's not exactly gentle, so we've had a few "intense moments" between her and Emi. Emi graciously offered her the big Barbie head and that seems to suffice for now.

She is growing fast, learning new stuff every day and has really started talking like crazy. She's putting words together and starting to really voice her opinion and tell us what she wants. She hillarious and fun and I love this stage. She's 20 months old now and I think she is starting to enter the terrible twos. She is stubborn, doesn't listen and does what she wants all the time. I'm not complaining though because each day is like a new adventure with her. She's a mama's girl, and wants to go wherever I go. Emi and her and getting closer as each day passes and they are able to do more and more together.

Elise loved Christmas, taking no time at all to figure out the gift thing. She tore into those presents like a pro! Santa got her a battery operated 4-wheeler and she rides it everywhere! I can't believe that my baby is almost 2. Where does the time go?
