Adjusting well........

Well, it's been a little over three weeks since we brought little Elise home from the hospital. It's been a whirlwind. Sleepless nights, jealous big sister....countless visitors. But, it's been fun and we are all starting to slip back into a routine. Emi LOVES her little sister, but has had a few jealous meltdowns. To be expected when you've had mom and dad to yourself for four years. For the most part though I am very proud of her, she has done remarkably well. Elise is mellow as ever. Cries when she's hungry and when she needs a diaper change, that is about it. She is gorgeous and happy and thriving. She isn't gaining weight as fast as Emi did, but maybe she won't be as chunky as she was either. At her three week appt she was just barely up to her birth weight. By Emi's three week appt., she had gained 3 pounds. OH the differences. Emi also had Collic by now, we seem to have avoided that with Elise. Obviously my time is a little more limited, but I will try hard to keep this site updated as we go. We've got a busy summer planned, with Summer camps, Soccer and Swim Lessons for Emi. Hopefully we can take a few day or 1 night trips. HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL!!! BBQ's!!! Yum, yum!
